The death of our freedom to farm

May 17, 2013
Larry Aden/Jolley , Letter to editor

To the editor,

For 200 years, the U.S. Patent and Trade Office insisted that life could not be patented, because all life pre-existed the claimed inventor; until giant corporations paid off our courts to recognize their collective rights to patent small genetic parts of life, which they did not create, but merely stole from one organism to insert into another.

Now, the United States Supreme Court has ruled unanimously to force all farmers to buy their seed from these giant corporations, who supposedly "own" certain genetic material.

Big Corporations are the illegitmate children of Big Government, under the unequal protections of its corporate laws and its unjust judicial decisions.

Corporations cannot exist in a truly free market, because the market would hold them fully liable for all the damages from their pathological decisions.

Like the trading companies of the British Empire, and every empire in human history, the U.S. will be brought down by our most-favored corporations, through the environmental disasters they cause, but are liberated from all liability for, and the debt we acquire to fight wars for their interests, all around the world.

Because of agra-chemical and genetic-engineering corporations, we will be brought to starvation, through bee colony collapse disorder and other related maladies.

I believe our university professors, refuse to even look at the most likely causes of our massive bee die-off - agra-chemicals and pollen from genetically-engineered crops - because they are afraid to be cut off from research dollars by these tyrants of business and government.

We can get no justice against these massively-capitalized corporations in our courts, where justice is for sale to the highest bidder, because they can pay more lawyers to drag out the proceedings, until they bankrupt all whom they harm.

This problem was caused by Big Government, and may only be rectified by binding down this monster with the original intent of our Constitution, in courts, which must be forced to defend the rights of every sovereign individual, against its tyrannies.
