O’Brien County in northwest Iowa was struck hard by heavy rainfall in the early morning hours of June 14. Rain, over a short time, severely flooded fields, sending rivers and creeks over their banks, and flooding Hwy. 18 east of Hartley, and between Sheldon and Sanborn, where this photo was taken.
