A wind energy issues meeting will be held Monday from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Building in Alden.

William Haman, from the Iowa Energy Center, will present information on wind energy potential and alternatives.

Erin Herbold, a staff attorney from the Iowa State university Center of Ag Law and Taxation, will present information on easements and legal considerations.

The meeting is free and open to the public.

Registration is not required. The meeting is sponsored by Hardin County ISU Extension.
