Jaime Lutz empties a load of seed corn destined for Pioneer Hi-Bred International’s facility at Algona from the Mike Brown farm north of Mason City in Cerro Gordo County. Lutz and his brother, Randy Lutz, have been harvesting seed corn for Pioneer since 1980 in the Humboldt, Titonka and Mason City area. The Lutzes anticipate the seed corn harvest to be done by mid-October.
