Ventriloquist, song impersonator Terry Fator will bring his entire Las Vegas Show to the Clay County Fair on Sept. 14.

SPENCER – One of the top grossing acts in Las Vegas will be making the Clay County Fair one of a very limited number of stops on a late summer tour.

Terry Fator, season two winner of the popular reality show America’s Got Talent, will bring his entire Las Vegas Show to the 2010 Clay County Fair on Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Fator is known as the “Human Jukebox,” entertaining crowds as a ventriloquist, impressionist, comedian and singer.

Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Fator discovered his love for ventriloquism at an early age. When he was 10-years-old he got his first dummy, impersonating singers and actors for his friends and family.

As he grew up, he continued to perform and perfect his ventriloquism talent.

On a whim in the spring of 2007, Fator decided to compete on the highly popular television show America’s Got Talent. Entering the contest with low expectations, Fator aspired to make it far enough to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman.

To his surprise, he was highly successful on the show and eventually took the title of million dollar winner.

His performances on the show brought a combination of ventriloquism, impersonations, comedy and singing.

Following America’s Got Talent, Fator inked a deal with the Las Vegas Hilton to do three shows a month from January to May of 2008. Following his shows at the Hilton, Fator signed a five-year deal with The Mirage for an astounding $100 million a year.

Currently, Fator performs nightly to sold out audiences at the Terry Fator Theater in the Las Vegas Mirage.

The 2010 Clay County Fair runs from Sept. 11 through Sept. 19. For more information contact (712) 262-4740.
