Pride of Extension Award given
Teresa Stansbury, senior office assistant and bookkeeper at Hardin County Extension, received the ISU Pride of Extension Award at the ISU Extension Annual Conference held recently at the Gateway Center in Ames.
She was presented the award by Dr. Gerald Miller, interim vice president for ISU Extension and Outreach.
The ISU Pride of Extension Award is the highest honor ISU Extension can bestow to a county Extension employee.
Stansbury was noted for her pioneer work in transitioning Extension financial recordkeeping to a uniform statewide accounting system.
Stansbury lives in Eldora with her husband and three children and has been a Hardin County Extension employee for 10 years.
Hardin County Extension staff members joined her for a luncheon recognizing ISU Extension award recipients at the Gateway Center during the annual conference.
