Play Fair Finder at 2011 Clay?County Fair

By Staff | Sep 9, 2011

THIS IS the first photo in the Fair Finder contest. The clue is, “The oldest building at the fair where you might hear chainsaws.”

For those attending the 2011 Clay County Fair, starting Saturday and running through Sept. 18, there is a chance to win a $100 beef or pork certificate by playing Farm News’ Fair Finder.

A series of 10 photos, all taken on the Clay County Fairgrounds, must be correctly identified.

Entries with the photo can be found inside this issue of Farm News, downloaded from www.farm-news.com or picked up at the Farm News booth any day during the fair.

In addition, Farm News will run a daily hint with one of the photos each day of the fair at www.farm-news.com and on page 2A each day in The Messenger.

Entries must be turned in by the end of the business day on Sept. 19.

Entries may be dropped off at the booth, logged in on the website or mailed to: Farm News, P.O. Box 659, Fort Dodge, Iowa 50501.

All entries with 10 correct answers will be set-aside for the drawing of the $100 beef or pork certificate – winner’s choice. The winner will be drawn Sept. 20 and will be contacted before the name is published in the Sept. 23 issue.

All photo locations are within the public grounds and in plain sight.

There is no need to cross safety barriers, go behind ticket booths or any exhibits.

No photos were taken within the campground.

There can be only one entry per person.

Players must be 18 or older at time of entry.

Entries not received by the close of business on Sept. 19 will be discarded.

Complete rules can be found at www.farm-news.com.

Good luck and have fun.
