One injured in train versus tractor accident

According to the Webster County Sheriff’s Department, Rodney Peterson, 70, of Fort Dodge, was traveling east on 160th Street near Samson Avenue when his International tractor was hit by a Union Pacific train shortly before 8 a.m. Monday.
In the aftermath of the crash, Peterson’s leg was pinned under the tractor. He was extracted and transported by Vincent Rescue to Trinity Regional Medical Center.
