By Staff | Oct 31, 2012

SPENCER – David Kruse, president of CommStock Investments, based in Royal, announced Monday his company’s purchase of Pro-Crop Farm Management from Dave Hessman, of Spencer.

According to Kruse, “Pro-Crop Farm Management has been successfully operated by Dave Hessman since 1992. Dave has the personal connections, the management expertise and the desire to assist families in the oversight of increasingly complex farming operations.

“We look forward to continuing the tradition of hard work, dedication and excellence that Hessman has started.”

Beginning Nov. 1, Pro-Crop LLC will be managed by Sam Harper. After years of service in the agronomy field, Kruse said, Harper will be able to continue to provide the services that Pro-Crop LLC clients have come to expect.

Pro-Crop LLC plans on expanding throughout the region which includes adding services not currently provided, Kruse said.

This service may include adding crop insurance options and managed bushels capabilities.

“This is an exciting transition,” Harper said, “which will bring many opportunities to Pro-Crop clients. The new services will help clients maximize their profits.”

According to Harper, the familiar name of Pro-Crop will remain the same following the Nov. 1 transition. For additional information and questions, contact Pro-Crop at (712) 933-9450.
