Check out new products at Pork Congress

While at the Iowa Pork Congress, visitors have a chance to find and look over some new retail products including:

Ag eCommerce, of Mason City, booth 326, with ePigFlow, an online market for weaner and feeder pigs and a source for barn space. ePigFlow is designed to help swine producers manage the peaks and valleys of pig flow by using technology to ensure a simple, transparent and secure process for buying and selling.

Automated Production Systems, of Assumption, Ill., booth 613 withFlow Hammer, a simple and reliable feed-bridging solution that easily and affordably adapts to most existing feed bins.

Dosatron USA, of Clearwater, Fla., booth 710, with a 3-pound economy pail for Medicator Rx. The pail uses two scoops in one gallon of water, the economy pail contains enough Medicator Rx to cleanse approximately 16 medicators of rust, mineral deposits and calcifications, while lubricating the medicator’s interior seals and all moving components.

Elanco Animal Health, of Greenfield, Ind., booth 603, with Skycris, which delivers the performance benefits producers need, such as increased weight gain and improved feed efficiency. The active ingredient narasin has been successfully used in food animal production for nearly 25 years.

ES Windpower, Porter, Texas, booth 135, with new turbine technology that enhances efficiency and allows the turbine to pay for itself in less than four years. The New ES54 is a perfect fit for hog confinement facilities delivering electrical savings of $1,000 to $2,000 a month.

Farm Bureau Financial Services, of West Des Moines, booth 542, with custom-fed livestock coverage that protects producers in event they are legally liable for loss to custom-fed livestock. Adding non-owned livestock suffocation can provide unique coverage.

Kent Nutrition Group, of Muscatine, booth 301, with NexGen swine nutrition from Kent-branded swine nutrition that is bottom-line driven for the most efficient cost of production and the best economic returns.

Motomco, Ltd., of Madison, Wis, booth 1023, with three new products including (1) Jaguar Soft Bait, an alternative in rodent control. Sustained palatability, not affected by freezing temperatures and mold and weather resistant are a couple of the benefits of this new bait. (2) Rampage Reformulation, which has 40 percent better bait acceptance, can kill up to seven times more rodents (compared to bromadiolone) and can kill in 1-2 days versus 4-10 days for anticoagulants. (3) Tomcat Bullet and Vertical Bait stations. Both are secure, low-profile, easy to clean, easy to open and are Tier 1 tamper-resistant. Vertical is positioned to take up less floor space and the Bullet is low-profile and has a removable tray for easy cleaning.

Nedap Agri North America, of Orion, Ill., booth 501, with Nedap Farrowing Pen Feeder, which allows producers to automatically feed the correct strategy for individual sows based on criteria while they are in farrowing.

Park Farms Computer Systems, of DeWitt, booth 1111. Intellislope, AgLeader Plan to install drainage tile without traditional surveying and laser hassles. Automatically keeps tile on grade. Records tile line locations and depth.

Phibro Animal Health, Teaneck, New Jersey, booth 818 with Terramycin-200, an antibiotic available in a granular formulation that benefits improved flowability, reduced dust and uniform dispersion.

PigTek Pig Equipment Group, of Milford, booth 703, with its Ad-Lib Lactation Feeder for sows that helps producers maximize both piglet growth and sow feed intake.

RetroFoam of Iowa, of Waterloo, booth 204, with RetroFoam, a unique foam insulation product for existing buildings and homes. Mold- and fire-resistant, it exclusively offers a natural pheromone additive that deters mice and other pests from entering in buildings and homes.

Tri-M AI LLC, of Boone: booth 1136 with two produc ts: (1) its Porcine Filter Collar, a patent-pending device which filters semen as it is collected into a bag or Styrofoam cup and is easily removed and discarded after collection is complete. (2) Handi-Scan, an all-in-one ultrasound devide that has been redesigned. The probe is on a 6-inch cord for easier use.
