FFA SPOTLIGHT

Logan Scott is the son of John and Linda Scott, of Odebolt, Iowa. He is the Odebolt OABCIG FFA President.

1.) Why FFA?:

Because I have been involved in agriculture all my life and it’s what I like to do, I wanted to learn how to climb the business ladder for a successful life and I believe that FFA is a great way to get to know people.

2.) FFA project:

My SAE I work for Scott Farms in Odebolt, Scott Seeds in Odebolt, and The Wheel House refurbishing old aluminum wheels for semis and personal vehicles in Odebolt.

3.) I’ve learned:

I have learned how to be a leader and also how to communicate with people of all different backgrounds.

4.) Career path:

I am planning on working in the field of agriculture, whether it is working for a cooperative or coming back to the farm.

5.) College plans:

Attending DMACC in Ankeny for Ag business.

6.) FFA acvtivities:

A. Chapter president senior year.

B. Chapter sentinel junior year.

C. National FFA convention.

D. 6th place District Soils Judging.

E. Farm Safety Days at the Ida County Fair.

F. Tractor day.

G. Farm Safety Day at the Ida County Fairgrounds.
