Katie Zabel is a junior and a member of Humboldt High School FFA chapter. She is the daughter of Matthew and Lynn Zabel, of Renwick.

1.) Why FFA?:

I exhibit cattle and horses at the local county fairs. I like learning about agriculture and plan to keep learning more.

2.) FFA project:

My FFA projects are raising cattle, my horses, and showing at fair.

3.) I’ve learned:

I have learned that there are many agricultural opportunities you can contribute to.

4.) Career path:

I will continue in the veterinarian field and FFA has helped with that career.

5.) College plans:

I plan to attend Iowa State University and get accepted into the Iowa State Veterinary Medicine School.

1. The Farm Progress shows.

2. National FFA Convention.

3. Soils judging contests.

4. Green Hand Fire Up.
