Iowa Falls to host farm leasing meeting
IOWA FALLS – A farmland leasing meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 12 at Hamilton Auditorium on the Ellsworth Community College campus in Iowa Falls.
Kelvin Leibold, ISU Extension farm management specialist, will be the guest speaker.
The meeting is designed to inform landowners and tenants, as well as agribusiness professionals, on rental rate surveys, cost of production, farmland values, revised corn suitability ratings, grain prices, cash and flexible leases, and available ISU Extension resources.
There will be a time for questions and answers.
The meeting is open to the public.
Pre-registration is not required and there is no charge to attend the meeting.
A farmland leasing workbook will be available for purchase that evening.
