1.) Why FFA?:

I am involved in FFA because my family has a strong history of involvement in the program and my dad was able to show me how many fun activities and events that I could participate in.

2.) FFA project:

I am currently restoring an Oliver 60 Standard tractor to show at county and state fair, and I am also raising lambs to show at county fair and possibly the state fair.

3.) I’ve learned:

I have learned that FFA has been a good way to explore future job opportunities in both production agriculture and many other fields related to agriculture.

4.) Career path:

I am thinking of going into agricultural education or doing something with natural resources.

5.) College plans:

I plan on going to Iowa State University to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Hopefully a semester of exploring my options will help me find the right major.

6.) FFA acvtivities:

National convention, state convention, conduct of meetings, parliamentary procedure, individual ag sales, ag business management team, Greenhand test, ag mechanics CDE, soil judging, community garden, Homecoming barbecue, earned Iowa Degree, showing livestock at county and state fair, concession stand at the county fair, county fair clean-up, swine gate setup
