Chrsitian Conover

Christian Conover is a senior at Odebolt/Arthur-Battle Creek/Ida Grove High School. He is the son of Clint and Heather Conover, of Ida Grove, and a member of OABCIG chapter of FFA.

1.) Why FFA?:

I enjoy learning about agriculture and livestock. FFA gives me the opportunity to expand my knowledge of my swine production and improve my production practices. FFA gives me the opportunity to enjoy time with others that also raise swine.

2.) FFA project:

The events I am involved with through FFA varies from year to year. I like to be involved in everything I can possibly do, whether that is helping at a food drive or helping at an auction.

3.) I’ve learned:

I have learned about leadership, helping the less fortunate and how to be nice to all people. Being an upper classmen in ag I take the responsibility to being a role model to our younger members. I have also learned some helpful tips to improve our swine operation.

4.) Career path:

After high school I am going to basic training for the Navy with hopes of becoming an intel. FFA has helped me with that career path because it takes discipline and responsibility to be in both. Honor and commitment are also large parts of FFA and are qualities I will carry into the military.

5.) College plans:

I plan on going into the Navy.

6.) FFA activities:

I have done Parliamentary Procedure, livestock judging, auction help, food drive help, and soup super help.
