Annual Farm and Home Show nears
ESTHERVILLE — The Estherville Farm and Home Show will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, today and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Regional Wellness Center in Estherville.
The show will feature more than 50 vendors. There is no admission cost to attend the event.
“Quite a few charge admission and most charge significantly more for vendors,” said Lexie Ruter, executive director of the Estherville Area Chamber of Commerce.
The event will highlight what products are in Estherville and the surrounding area.
Vendor spaces are filling, limited to the first 55. Chamber members receive a discount off their booth fee, Ruter said.
A Legislative Town Hall Meeting will start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with U.S. Rep. Steve King, I-Iowa; State Rep. Tedd Gassman, R-Scarville; and State Sen. Dennis Guth, R-Klemme; will speak and answer questions.
Food will be available from the Estherville Special Olympics group and baked goods from Relay for Life.
