Free senior information fair set June 18
IOWA FALLS – A free Senior Information Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. on June 18 at the Alden High School in Iowa Falls. Registration begins at 9 a.m.
A trio of breakout sessions will be offered starting at 10 a.m. with participants able to choose from four different topics at each breakout session.
Topics include fall prevention and exercise, keeping up with one’s family, getting affairs in order, a meaningful life with dementia, eating as you age and container and raised-bed gardening.
A free lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with entertainment. Pre-registration is requested for a lunch count by calling the Hardin County Extension office at (641) 648-4850 or (888) 648-5005 by June 13.
The Senior Information Fair is sponsored by Hardin County Circle of Life Committee.
