Alicia Mogler, will be a senior this fall at West Bend-Mallard High School. She is the daughter of Lynn and Amy Mogler, of West Bend, and serves as the secretary for the Hawkeye FFA Chapter.

1.) Why FFA?:

I am involved in FFA because of the great learning experiences and hands on activities. It is also a great program that helps me get somewhat of an idea of what I want to be. It’s great for meeting new people and to earn scholarships for college.

2.) FFA project:

My FFA project is showing sheep. I have shown sheep most of my 4-H career and now I have the opportunity to show for FFA. When you show sheep it takes a lot of time. I have chosen to show sheep due to my two brothers also showing sheep.

3.) I’ve learned:

The one thing I have learned most about FFA is that you are a leader and that what you do can impact many other people.

4.) Career path:

I am undecided at this point, but plan on attending a two-year college.

Undertermined.

6.) FFA acvtivities:

I have been involved in many local chapter activities like fruit sales, helping at the Chili-Oyster Supper, member service auction, attending meetings.

I attended the state convention for the first time in 2014.

I also participated in the WLC trip and had a lot of fun and learned a lot about leadership and it was cool to see the different things in Washington D.C.
