1.) Why FFA?:
Nothing gives me a greater sense of purpose than being a part of something larger than myself. I enjoy being inspired and inspiring others.
2.) FFA project:
My SAE project is agriculture education, because I enjoy working with children and teaching.
3.) I’ve learned:
FFA has helped me to grow into the person I am and the person I wish to be. It has helped me become a better leader and public speaker.
4.) Career path:
Before I joined FFA I might not have thought of having a career in agriculture, and I certainly wouldn’t have realized all of the potential jobs that are in the ag field.
5.) College plans:
Not sure, but, I do know that everything that I have learned through FFA will be of a great service to me in college. I will be able to apply my leadership, communication and work ethic skills to whatever I decide to do.
6.) FFA activities:
FFA is a pretty large part of my life, so I have been in involved in most of the activities that our chapter does. Some of my favorites have been CDE’s. I have done ag CSI, creed speaking, chapter program, meat judging, food science and National FFA Week vent. I enjoy showing pigs at the Clay County Fair, and working at the Chop Shop at the Clay County Fair, and Farm Safety Day.
