FORT DODGE – NEW Cooperative Foundation recently donated nearly $30,000 to area 4-H clubs. The money is donated for each youth in NEW Co-ops’s trade territory, which includes Webster, Calhoun, Carroll, Greene, Franklin, Sac, Pocahontas, Humboldt, Hamilton, Kossuth, and Wright counties.

NEW Co-op Foundation takes great pride in supporting area youth 4-H programs, a news release said, and strongly feels that 4-H helps these youth build the foundation to become future leaders in our local communities.

The NEW Co-op Foundation was established in 2011 as the charitable division of NEW Cooperative, Inc.

“The ability to continue supporting outstanding youth, agriculture, and community organizations and events in our area is a privilege that the NEW Co-op Foundation greatly appreciates,” the release said. “Our Foundation prides itself in providing assistance and support to organizations, programs and projects within the NEW Cooperative service area that directly benefit and enhance the quality of life in our member’s local communities.”
