HUTCHINSON, KAN. (Kuhn) – The new Kuhn Multi-Leader and Vari-Leader semi-mounted rollover plows offer several options from six to eight bottoms. These plows are designed for farmers whose practices include burying high-volume trash and/or combating against pesticide resistance. They are made for intensive, heavy-duty use with higher horsepower tractors.

These new plows are available with a traction bolt shear protection for light to medium rocky conditions or anon-stop hydraulic automatic reset system for conditions where rocks are prevalent. Their high-strength headstock, which is Cat. 3 and 4 N quick hitch compatible, provides years of trouble-free operation and use. Exclusive Triplex steel moldboards results in longer life due to the front wearing face making up the greatest thickness of the moldboard. Multiple types of coulters, jointers and moldboards are available to best match your time of use, soil conditions and trash coverage. Depth and cut width adjustment is simple, whether you are plowing in the spring or fall.

The Kuhn Multi-Leader and Vari-Leader plows are also available with in-furrow or on-land configurations. The on-land configuration is best suited in areas where increased traction is necessary. The large transport and depth wheel offer great flotation capabilities when plowing in damp conditions.
