AMES – The next regular monthly Iowa Learning Farms webinar will discuss river restoration and will be held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 21.

Leading the webinar are Rosalyn Lehman with Iowa Rivers Revival, and Nate Hoogeveen with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.

Lehman and Noogeveen will discuss benefits of river restoration including:

• Better water quality.

• Reduction in streambank erosion and flooding.

• Improves habitats.

• Enhances economic development.
