FSQA training set March 25 for youths’ fair shows

CALLENDER/FORT DODGE – Food and Safety and Quality Assurance training for those exhibiting swine, sheep, meat goats and beef at the Webster County Fair or Iowa State Fair will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. March 25 at the Callender Community Center; and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on March 28 at the Webster County Extension office.

The Iowa 4-H FSQA program focuses on seven good production practices that help ensure the safety of the food youth produce.

Those who can not make the workshop, can test out if they are in seventh to 12th grades.
