Sac County Extension sets camps, clinics for youths
SAC CITY – The Iowa State university Extension office in Sac City has scheduled a pair iof capm,s aand a clinic for area youths in June and July.
These include:
(A). Baby-sitting clinic: Sac County Extension scheduled a baby-sitting clinic for fifth- sixth-graders on from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 9 at the East Sac Elementary School.
The cost is $10 per person which covers snacks, drinks and the materials. Please bring a sack lunch.

(B). Vet camp: A new camp is coming to Sac County – veterinary and animal science – sset from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 15 and 16 at the Sac County Extension office.
Participants will take a look into everyday life of a veterinarian, veterinary practices and procedure stations. The cost is $40 and youth must have completed thirrd through seventh grade to attend. The registration flier is available at www.extension.iastate.edu/sac.

(C). Robotics camps: Sac County 4-H will be holding two different Summer 2016 Robotics Camps from June 20 to 22 for beginners, and from July 14 to 15 for advanced users.
The location will be at the elementary school in Sac City.
Campers will choose between two levels of robotics experiences held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily led by Master 4-H Robotics educator, Sue Jarvis
Those attending the beginners workshop can attend the advanced camp in July.
