Sac County sets ice-fishing clinic

LAKE VIEW – The Sac County Extension office and the Sac County Conservation Board are sponsoring an ice fishing clinic for youths will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 18 at the Lake View Public Library with Ben Wallace and Matt Mork teaching the basics of ice fishing.

Following the presentation those attending will travel to Arrowhead Lake to go fishing. There will be no cost involved. Bring warm clothes, an ice fishing pole or one will be provided.

Fishing licenses are not required with this clinic for youth. Adults planning to fish must have a valid fishing license.

There will be snacks and drinks available and also door prizes.
