By Staff | Apr 3, 2017

ALGONA – Amberley Snyder, a paralytic rodeo competitor, will be speaking at 6 p.m., April 17 at the Ed and Betty Wilcox Performing Arts Center, in Algona.

The event is free. Seating is first-come, first-served.

Snyder qualified for National High School Rodeo finals and won the National Little Britches Rodeo Association All-Around Cowgirl World Championship.

Snyder was active in FFA and was elected the Utah FFA State President.

In 2010, she was looking to go to college and continue competing through college rodeo when an accident changed her life forever.

Through all the challenges and adversity Amberley has had to face, it hasn’t stopped her from achieving any of her goals. Amberley now is inspiring America by telling her inspirational story and competing in rodeos across the western United States.
