Annual Dayton Expo is Saturday
The winding down of an Iowa winter is a preoccupation for everyone just now. The many pleasures of the annual Dayton Expo are a good way to take one’s mind off the uncertainties of this season’s weather.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dayton Community Center and gymnasium, 103 First St., N.W.
The Expo -sponsored by the Dayton Community Club – will feature dozens of vendors. It has been designed to appeal to diverse interests.
Agriculture and area businesses will be featured, but that’s just part of the story. This festival showcases the community.
New businesses will have a chance to get better known. Established enterprises will have the opportunity to get reacquainted with their patrons.
During the Dayton Expo, a lunch will be served at noon the Pork Producers. Free popcorn for snacking will available throughout the day.
A few hours spent in Dayton on Saturday should prove not only educational, but also great fun.
