GREENE COUNTY — Registration is now open for the 2023-2024 Career Exploration Camps through a partnership with the Greene County Career Academy and Iowa State Extension and Outreach — Greene County.

The goal of these camps are to broaden the horizons for youth by immersing them in different career fields and allow then to discover the options available to them through the Greene County Career Academy in high school.

These classes will take place on various Thursdays in the months of September-April.

All eight career strands: culinary, computer science, construction, welding, agriculture, health science, education, and business classes will be offered for youth in grades 1-8.

The cost for the camps is $10. Youth can sign up by calling the Extension Office at 515-386-2138 or emailing hardaway@iastate.edu
